In these conditions of sale the “Seller” refers to

The “Buyer” is the company or person placing an order with the Seller directly or indirectly via the website with intent to purchase goods and/or services on the website.

Placing Orders

Orders can be placed for goods/services displayed on the website by:

  1. Telephone
  2. Fax or Post
  3. On-line are processed via the Retail Merchant Services secure payment facility on behalf of the seller


The price of the goods/service shall be the price quoted on the website on the date of the acceptance of the order by the Seller.

The price of the goods/services does not include delivery unless where specifically stated.

All quotations given by the Seller are subject to withdrawal and alteration without notice and do not constitute an offer to supply goods (unless otherwise agreed).


Payment may be made by credit/debit card (for accepted cards see list on the Home Page) or cheque. All prices displayed are in British Pounds Sterling and all orders will be charged as such for UK customers. For customers outside the UK the exchange rate will be determined by your credit/debit card company at the time the order is processed.

So that shopping over the internet is secure all credit/debit card details will be encrypted and transmitted over a Secure Socket Layer (SSL); this reduces the possibility of anyone being able to read your details as they are given to ProtX payment processor over the internet.


Delivery will be arranged by the Seller using  the services of reputable external  contractors. Small items are posted by first class Royal Mail and larger, heavier items will be sent by courier on a next day/3 day service. A scale of charges applies for each order, determined by the specific requirements. You will be informed of the delivery cost before entering your credit card details. All goods are to be signed for as “unexamined” and any shortages or defects must be advised within 3 days of receipt either by e-mail, fax or telephone. The Seller shall not be responsible for any consequential loss or charge other than of replacing the defective unused goods.


We are confident that you will be delighted with your purchase but there may be times when it is necessary to return an item to the Seller. The goods must be returned to us in their original condition and packaging within 14 days from the date of receipt. The Buyer is responsible for the goods until they reach the Seller, therefore we suggest using a secure delivery service where they require a signature upon delivery. Should the Buyer return an item to the Seller that, for any reason, is the fault of the Seller, the Seller will pay the cost of the return carriage. In the event that the buyer should order incorrectly, the buyer shall be responsible for the cost of return carriage. In this circumstance please contact us by e-mail, fax or telephone and we will inform you how you should send the item back to us.

No order which has been accepted by the Seller may be cancelled by the Buyer except with the agreement in writing of the Seller and on terms that the Buyer shall indemnify the Seller in full against all loss (inc loss of profit), costs (inc labour and materials used), damages, charges and expenses incurred by the seller as a result of cancellation.


Upon acceptance of the return the Seller shall refund the Buyer any monies less any re-stocking charge within 7 working days.

Comments and  Complaints  Procedure

In the event that you have a comment or complaint   please click the Contact Us link and use the message box to notify us. We welcome feedback so please use this facility to inform us of any service you feel we may need to improve. We will acknowledge all communications within three working days and inform you of the approximate timescale for resolving any issue to mutual satisfaction. All complaints will be dealt with in the strictest of confidence.

Withdrawal and Use of Goods

The Seller may withdraw the sale or distribution of any goods produced by or generally supplied by the Seller without prior notice to the Buyer. If the Seller provides the Buyer with information about the use for which the goods are designed and about conditions necessary to ensure that the goods will be safe, then the Buyer shall use the goods accordingly. No conditions or warranty is given or implied as to the life or wear of the goods or whether they will be suitable for any particular purpose or use. The Sellers goods should only be used in the manner and for the purpose for which they were intended.


The Buyer shall indemnify the Seller against any loss or damage suffered by the Buyer

  1. as a result of any claims brought against the Seller by any third party for:
  2. any loss, injury or damage caused by the goods or their use any loss, injury or damage in any way connected with this contract provided that this clause will not require the Buyer to indemnify the Seller against any liability for the Sellers own negligence.

Privacy Statement

Information that we collect about the Buyer will be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. The Seller collects information about the Buyer to process the Buyers order and to provide the Buyer with the best possible service. The type of information we will collect about the Buyer includes:

Your name
Telephone number
E-mail address
Credit/Debit Card details

The Seller will not collect sensitive information about the Buyer without their permission. The information will be up to date and accurate; should the Buyer want to check this information they may do so by e-mailing us. If the buyer finds any errors the Seller will delete or correct them promptly. We may also monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to help us improve and develop the design and layout of the website.
